Remote – United States, Worldwide – Unpaid – Internship

Symbolic Sounds is seeking a Music Producer intern, Music Composer, or Specialists such as Guitarist, Pianist, or Drummer to join the team to create fresh samples, loops, midis, and recordings in one of the most rewarding music production internship programs available right now. This is an unpaid internship position and requires a minimum of 5 hours per week, with an opportunity for part-time or full-time work upon successful completion of the internship. This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience in sample production in the industry.

 

*Genres we are currently looking for: Lo-Fi, Chill Hop, Hip Hop, Trap, Drill, Rnb. 

Our internship program provides you with meaningful projects tailored to your interests, where your contributions will impact thousands of music creators across the world, and help shape the future of the music industry. This position requires familiarity with creating original melodies and music production. The ideal candidate must be able to balance attention to detail with fast-paced production for a multitude of genres. 

 

Please note that although the internship is unpaid, you can expect significant professional and personal mentorship, remote work from home opportunities, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to transition to a part-time or full-time position. Students are welcome! *All selected candidates will go through a test phase to verify production abilities and professional efficiency.

 

Music Production Responsibilities 

• Assist the Symbolic Sounds team with the preparation of sample packs and libraries from concept to completion

• Develop samples, loops, midis, etc, for multiple genres

• Develop demo tracks for sample packs

• Submit frequent project updates and respond to emails and discord messages

• Other duties as required

Music Production Requirements 

• 2 years or more of music production experience

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates musical versatility.

• Intermediate or Advanced Experience with DAWs and VST plugins

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

• Enthusiasm for exploring unfamiliar musical styles

• Dependable – more reliable than inconsistent

• Adaptable/flexible – enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction

• Autonomous/Independent – enjoys working independently with little direction

• Ability to handle multiple projects and competing deadlines in a very short timeframe
